Yoda started life as a terrified kitten dumped with his brother in a basket, in a busy part of town near dangerous roads. They were picked up and brought to Romney 12 years ago. Yoda was left traumatised by the experience, but being a very clever cat, he went through a complete transformation. Today Yoda is one of our BIG characters. He’s a very confident, Tomcat who loves humans and attention. He’s always hanging around waiting to meet and greet visitors to the Centre – probably in the hope he’ll receive treats. Yoda adores Dreamies and any other cat treats, he will tear and make holes in any bags he finds. He’s extremely friendly and will nudge you with his nose and meow loudly if you don’t give him enough attention. If you bend over, he will jump on your back and enjoy a ride! Yoda is very happy living freely in the grounds of Romney House with his cat family and the Romney staff.
