Phillipo somehow survived for 8 years in one of the Italian colonies that Silvana works with. Due to his gentle nature, he would shy away from the more dominant cats in the colony and other nearby wild animals. Volunteers would leave food for the colony a few times a week, but Phillipo hardly got any of the little amount that was being given out. As a result, he was very skinny, under-nourished and frightened. Silvana was concerned for his safety and health so picked him up on one her transport trips and brought him back to Romney in the UK. Phillipo is now a healthy weight and is never short of food. He is very happy and content living with his cat family, and loves basking in the sun. He has become quite tame, and once he knows you, will accept some fuss and strokes.
