Franco

Franco is a lovely ginger Tomcat who was rescued from Ireland. He had been abandoned by his humans and had the most terrible infected eye condition we’ve ever seen!! We spent many hours, over weeks and months giving him his medication and gently cleaning his eyes. Franco found it very difficult to socialise at first as our hands represented bad things. However, he very slowly began to trust and be less nervous of us. His eye condition improved although sadly, he is now blind in one eye. Franco is still nervous around people he doesn’t know, but he’s far happier these days and lives a content life at Romney House roaming the garden where our secure fencing keeps him secure and safe.
