Happy Endings & Cat Tales

Upset cats can spend weeks undergoing close & personal socialisation at Romney House, creating a bond between cat & keeper. We are delighted when they move on to lead a normal life in a loving home, but we do worry about them. We assume that 'no news is good news' but are always delighted to hear from a new owner.
If you have adopted a cat from us, no matter how long s/he spent here, we would love to hear from you. Please send your news to Romney House, for our happy endings chapter or e-mail silvana@romneyhousecatrescue.org.uk.

Pickle and Sandy

Lilly

Lilly

Lilly and Daisy are Bengal sisters.  The had to be given up because their owner moved into a houshold with dogs and they didnt get along.  Thye are adorable and very friendly.  To home them (as a pair) you need to have some breed experience.  Also no other cats or dogs.

Bub

Bub

Bub's  DOB is 18/08/10 and he came from a litter of four.  Bub's is a Ragdoll x Norwegian Forest Cat. Bub's coat is white and very dark chocolate, which shows reddish in some lights. Bub's grows a long coat in the winter, with furry ears and furry tufts between his toes. I think that's his Norwegian trait.

He is very calm tempered and laid back, that obviously comes from the Rag Doll side of his family.  Bub's likes to forage and hunt in the garden and then come in via the cat flap to eat and sleep in his bed.  Bub's comes home on a 'whistle' , he also sits for his Dreamies treats and chats away when you greet him in the morning and when he comes in from the garden.  Bub's would only be happy in a home that has a cat flap and access to a large garden.  I wouldn't want him to be re-homed to an area that's on a busy main road, as we back onto fields and green belt, that's what he is used too. I don't think he has that much road sense as we live in a small close.  I would love for someone to home him in the countryside.  Bub's is happy with most children and very much likes to people watch.  However, he hasn't been around babies or toddlers.  The youngest person he has interacted with is three years old and he will take treats from his hand.

Munchkin

Munchkin

Munchkin is a big beautiful boy in need of some love.  He has been living as a stray in someones garden who has been looking after him.  But they were concerned that what he really needed was a new home so he has come to us.

Sooty

Sooty
Age: 5
Sex: Female

Poor Sooty has just arrived with us.  Sadly his owner passed away suddenly and he has been left all alone.  As well as being in a strange place it all seems a bit much for him at the moment.  He would be som much happier in a home.
